flipstream™ v1.0 is a slingshot™ accelerated frame review application easily capable of streaming 2K resolution 10-bit frames directly from a centralised server.

Typically, for uncompressed real time review, a studio relies on either a shared SAN connected review system or copying the relevant frames to the local storage array on a dedicated review system. The first method requires a powerful, concurrent IO SAN, the latter a lengthy data transfer. Neither is cost effective in both time and money.

flipstream™ eliminates uncompressed frame duplication to a dedicated high end review station and instead allows any user with a standard workstation1 on the same network to directly stream frames from a slingshot⢠enabled Network Attached Storage (NAS) system2.
