Job Description:Leading Software Developer of advanced solutions for digital film are seeking an enthusiast Linux software engineer.
This position provides a unique opportunity to develop and support software solutions used in some of the world's most prominent film, visual effects and animation productions.
You will have knowledge of the full Software Development life cycle and an excellent understanding of testing methodologies. You will be working as part of a skilled team of specialist developers and have the ability to effectively resolve complex technical problems and customer requirements.

To secure this role, you will need:
- Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science or related disciplines
- 4+ years industry experience developing on Linux platforms
- Advanced knowledge of C++ and strong skills in system level C programming
- Experience in GLSL pixel and vertex shader programming
- Experience with OpenGL
- Good knowledge of NFS, CIFS and Samba
- Proven bash, perl and PHP scripting ability
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- An analytical approach to problem solving
